I have been playing drums for over 30 years.I have played professionally is a large number of genres including acts like Glasvegas and jazz legend Richie Cole. I attended Berklee College of Music and was a private student of world renowned teacher, Gary Chaffee.

As an educator, I was the in-house instructor at Drummer's Only (formerly Rhythm Base) in Glasgow, Scotland where I taught over 50 students each week. During his time I wrote two drum method book 'Exploring The Basics - Hands' and 'Exploring The Basics - Groove'. Both books presented material to build a solid foundation of the skills required for confidence and versatility across genres.
